Patrick Henry is fortunate to have such a large and successful Band program.
Unfortunately the lack of adequate performance and practice space requires that we split the band into into two groups for the 2009-2010 concert seasons. The Symphonic Winds will continue as the 10th, 11th and 12th grade stage group. The newly forming Concert Winds will be comprised of the 9th grade stage group.
We are actively working to prioritize the design and construction of new spaces that will meet the needs of the campus. All other Band and Instrumental Music performance groups will remain unaffected by this continuing shortage of functional interior space.
