| Can you be in Marching Band and still play a sport? |
Absolutely!
It isn't easy, but nearly a third of all Band students also play a sport. Winter and Spring sports are the most common and coaches are often willing to work with individual students to help ensure they can balance their commitments. Fall sports are particularly difficult to participate in due to the time required for Marching Competitions and performances at PHHS Football games. Student musicians are encouraged to participate in Winter and Spring sports as opposed to Fall sports whenever possible... but every year there are a few that manage the grueling schedule required to do both Marching Band and a Fall sport.

~At Patrick Henry and the Spirit of 76 Boosters, we're proud of our student athletes. It is nice to know that the feeling is mutual. Did you know that at least two of the photos in the 2008 PHHS Football Boosters photo montage, were of our Marching Patriots?
