High School Band Night at Qualcomm Stadium with the Marching Aztecs
This event is for Band and Color Guard. If a student is not able to attend this event, a parent/guardian needs to send an email to Mr. Kalal at mkalal@sandi.net. We are still waiting for final information and schedule for the event, but the following times for that day will be:
10:00am - Call Time
10:15am - Load
10:30am - Leave for Qualcomm
10:45am - Arrive and drop-off at Qualcomm, J4
11:00am - Rehearsal downbeat
1:30pm - Begin to dress into uniform
2:00pm - Begin seating HS Bands in stands (each band will have a guide from SDSU)
3:00pm - Marching Aztecs Pregame Show
3:30pm - Kickoff (SDSU vs. Portland St.)
5:00pm - Halftime Massed-Band performance
7:00pm - KGB SkyShow
7:30pm - Back to busses
8:00pm - Leave for Henry
8:30pm - Change out of full uniform at Patrick Henry
Attire: For game, full "A" Uniform (white socks, no gloves, no hats, hair back.) For day rehearsal, wear "B" Shirt, Patriots pack shorts under rehearsal attire and performance attire, tennis shoes for day practice and marching shoes for the game.
Food & Drink During the Game: Grapes, pretzels, string cheese and water will be provided. Students will want to bring a minimum of $10 to purchase their own dinner items from vendors onsite. Adherence to the uniform agreement & uniform responsibilities is in full effect for the game. Students that wish to purchase stadium food will be required to wear a provided poncho. No foods with mustard, ketchup, relish, or nacho cheese.
Parent Pick-Up and Instruments: All students will be picked up at Patrick Henry High School after we have arrived back and changed out of uniform.
