Fall Color Guard
The Color Guard performs with the Marching band as a section within the Marching Patriots during field competitions and parades. The members use flags, sabres, props and dancing to provide a visual aspect to complement the music.. This fall activity provides PE credit and an incredible sense of comraderie between color guard and band members.

Winter / Spring Color Guard
After marching season ends, the Color Guard takes on a life of its own. Students prepare group routines for Winterguard competitions. It takes a significant amount of exercise, effort and focus to practice their choreographed moves and ensure they visually appear as one collaborative unit in competition.

The District does not fund this program, so it must be self-sufficient to continue beginning with the 2010-2011 school year.
Due to historically low rates of fundraising to cover the expenses incurred on behalf of participants, the entire program is subject to cancellation next year.
